  • Daria Larowska-Zarych, Katarzyna KrancewiczKatarzyna Grzyb and Kamil Frąckowiak attended the 28th IUPAC Symposium on Photochemistry in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The PhD students attended fascinating talks given by experts in photochemistry and presented posters dedicated to their research.

  • On June 3rd, we participated in the Poznan Science and Art Festival. The visitors took part in the workshop on luminescence and its role in criminology. They had a chance to become photochemists and conduct photochemicak experiments.
    The event was organized by Prof. Anna Lewandowska-Andrałojć, Dr Marta Ignasiak-Kciuk, Dr Piotr Filipiak, Msc Kamil Frąckowiak and Msc Katarzyna Grzyb.

May 2022

  • We hosted professor Sylwia Ptasińska from The Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory (USA). The visiting professor gave two lectures: at the Department of Chemistry about „Foundations of non-thermal plasmas for biochemical applications” and at the Center for Advanced Technology titled „Low energy electrons-induced damage to biomolecules.”
    After hard work we spent free time at Kórnik Arboretum and the Poznan Old Town.

    • On 11 April 2019, the Adam Mickiewicz once more participated in the Poznan Arts and Science Festival. The young science lovers had a chance to take part in workshops about luminescence and its role in criminology organized by dr. Anna Lewandowska-Andrałojć with help of dr. Piotr Filipiak, dr. Marta Ignasiak-Kciuk and MSc Daria Larowska. It was the second edition of our workshops and we hope some more.

  • On 15 March, the 1st Poznan Graphene Seminar was held in the Center of Advanced Technology. Photochemistry of materials sub-group present two oral communication (by Dr Anna Lewandowska-Andrałojć and MSc Daria Larowska) and five posters. Wiktoria Kamińska is a winner of the Best Poster Prize  – congratulations!

  •  MSc Daria Larowska attended  Women in Science – 1st Erlangen Symposium, Germany, The focus of the symposium was set on which female scientists, aiming at highlighting the important achievements of female researches around the world.

    • Today (19 October, Collegium Minius) Prof. Bronisław Marciniak received HOMINI VERE ACADEMICO medal from the hands of Prof. Andrzej Lesicki (current rector of AMU). This is significant award, which was established in November 2013 as appreciation of scientific and academic output. At the ceremony, family of Prof. Marciniak and members of our group were present.

  • MSc Daria Larowska was a participant of a 2nd International Workshop on Functional Nanostructured Materials (FuNaM-2), which was held at the Department of Chemistry, Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
  • During today’s Extraordinary Senate Council (3 October, Collegium Iuridicum Novum)  dr. Anna Lewandowska-Andrałojć was awarded the Rector Science Prize for her research. Moreover, MSc Katarzyna Wolska was honored with a medal for notable academic achievements. – Congratulations!
  • Dr. Marta Ignasiak-Kciuk, dr. Piotr Filipiak and MSc Daria Larowska were participants of the seminar organized by Shim-pol A.M.Borzymowski. The title of the seminar was ” The newest technological solutions for the analytical chemistry. During the meeting, many interesting topics, connected with gas/ liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, were discussed.
  • The new academic year has just begun! In our Research Group, we are starting the new Seminar Year, which will be open by Dr. Tomasz Pędziński and his talk (2 October, room 2.4, 10:00). Coming seminars can be checked here.
  • MSc Katarzyna Wolska entered PhD course! Congratulations!
