Katarzyna Krancewicz was born in Oborniki in Poland. Since 2013 she was studying Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. In 2016 she received her Bachelor’s degree for the work entitled „Multifunctional smart polymeric materials” under the supervision of Professor B. Brycki at Adam Mickiewicz University. In the same year she began her Master’s degree in the Professor B. Marciniak research group (with cooperation with Dr. Katarzyna Taras – Goślińska). In 2018 she graduated Master Studies with Maxima Cum Laude distinction and received Master’s degree for the work entitled „Synthesis and photophysical properties of tricyclic purine derivatives”. She was also the laureate of Medal from The Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, handed for outstanding achievements in science and distinctive commitment to the life of Adam Mickiewicz University. Since October 2018 she started her PhD studies in the Professor B. Marciniak research group where she will be continuing work on the tricyclic purine derivatives.
